Privacy Policy
(Status: 13.05.2022)
VITAVO GmbH, Am Ökopark 10, 8230 Hartberg, is responsible for the operation of this website. You can also contact us by email at office@missmaggie.at or by phone at +43 720 258010-100.
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your personal data will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG 2003), as well as this data protection declaration. In the following we will inform you which data we process in the context of your website use and for what purpose this is done.
1. Evaluation of visitor behavior
The analysis of the collected data is usually anonymous and we cannot infer your person from your behavior on this website.
Even while you are currently visiting our website, our web server (the computer on which this website is stored) usually automatically saves data such as:
- the complete Internet address (URL) of the website called up (e.g. https://missmaggie.at/#warum-miss-maggie/)
- browser and browser version (e.g. Chrome 87)
- the operating system used (e.g. Windows 10)
- the address (URL) of the previously visited page
- the host name and the IP address of the device from which access is made
- date and time
in files, the so-called web server log files.
These files are usually stored for two weeks and then automatically deleted.
2. TLS encryption with https
We use HTTPS (the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure stands for “secure hypertext transfer protocol”) to transfer data securely on the Internet. This means that the complete transmission of all data from your browser to our web server is secured – nobody can “overhear”.
We have thus introduced an additional security layer and comply with data protection through technology design in accordance with Article 25 (1) GDPR. By using TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the Internet, we can ensure the protection of confidential data.
3. Contact form and customer service
If you send us inquiries using the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be processed by us to carry out pre-contractual measures or in the context of contract fulfillment for the purpose of processing the request in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR and stored by us in the event of follow-up questions. If you contact our customer service by phone or post, the data you have disclosed will be processed automatically to the extent necessary on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit.b) GDPR.
We do not pass on this personal data without your consent, unless this is necessary to fulfill your request. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected, provided that there is no legal authorization or obligation to continue processing this data.
4. Cookies and web analysis
4.1 Cookies and cookie settings
Cookies are small pieces of text information that our website stores on your device in order to be able to recognize this device. When you visit our website for the first time, you can specify which cookies you want to allow in the cookie settings.
A distinction is made between two different types of cookies, so-called “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted as soon as you close your browser, and “persistent cookies”, which are stored on your data carrier for a longer period of time (such as to recognize your device the next time you visit).
You can remove or deactivate cookies in your browser settings. After you have deleted cookies, we will ask you again which cookies you want to allow on our website and you can (again) select them in the cookie settings.
You can also set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are completely deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
4.2 Required or essential cookies
We use “session cookies”, which are required to assign the entries you make on our website to you for the entire duration of your use of our website (e.g. when placing orders). The setting of these cookies is necessary for the registration and ordering process and is based on Section 96 (3) TKG 2003, as we need to know during the ordering process which user has placed which article in the shopping cart. The required cookies are automatically deleted from your hard drive after you have finished using our website (end of the session).
You can change your cookie settings here at any time:

5. Embedded YouTube videos
We embed YouTube videos on our website. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To protect your personal data when you visit our website, the YouTube videos are not directly integrated, instead a preview image is initially displayed. The actual video content is only activated after you click on the preview image. If you have not previously agreed in the cookie settings, the video will only be loaded by clicking on the preview image and the provider will set a cookie in your browser, which will inform the provider that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website even if you do not have a user profile with the provider or are not currently logged in to the provider. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a server of the provider (usually in the USA) and stored there. By activating the video, you consent to the transfer of data to the provider (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Google is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield and therefore offers appropriate data protection guarantees for the transmission of data to the USA. Further information on your rights under the Privacy Shield can be found at https://www.privacyshield.gov/welcome. You can also access our website without using YouTube videos by not giving your consent in the sense described above. Consent can be revoked at any time by e-mail to office@missmaggie.at, so that the processing of your data is no longer permissible from the time you receive your revocation. The legality of the processing of your data up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected by your withdrawal. Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s data protection declaration at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

7. Rights of the data subject
In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection (see EU GDPR). Please contact us for this. To cancel, please contact: Katharina Heil, office@missmaggie.at.
The data you provide are required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you.
Otherwise we will save your data until further notice.
